The service

Rekba is a free public-transit app for Algeria — real-time tracking and journey planning across bus, tram, metro, and train.

Accounts

You can check timetables, train positions, and route plans without an account. Writing in a line chat needs a free account with a verified email, and you are responsible for activity on your account.

Credits

Route search and premium live train tracking use free credits, which reset every day. If you run out, you can request more from within the app; requests are reviewed before they are granted.

Rekba does not sell anything for real money today. If that changes, we will update these terms first.

Line chat

Each train line has its own chat, where riders report where the train actually is. By posting there, you agree to share only accurate information, not to insult or harass other riders, and not to post ads or phone numbers.

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and breaking these rules can get a message removed or an account closed. The full rules are in the app, on the "Community guidelines" screen.

Contributions

When you actively track a trip, the app may use your location in the background to place the train on the map for everyone; you can turn this off at any time in Profile > Tracking & privacy. You can also trace a line without riding it, by tapping its stops on the map.

Your contributions are de-identified before they are shared with other riders. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

Feedback

You can send us feedback from the Profile tab. By sending it, you allow us to use it to improve Rekba, with nothing owed to you in return.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app, or by following the steps on our Account & Data Deletion page.

Schedules and operator data

Timetables, connections, and positions shown in Rekba are indicative: delays, cancellations, and route changes are up to the transit operators, not Rekba. We are not liable for missed connections, delays, or other consequences of a trip planned around the app.

Data from SNTF, ETUSA, and other operators shown in Rekba belongs to them; Rekba displays it without guaranteeing its accuracy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-extract Rekba’s content by automated means.
• Reverse-engineer the app or bypass its protections.
• Harass, insult, or abuse other users or our team.
• Impersonate another person or Rekba.
• Breaking these rules can get your account suspended or closed.

Changes to these terms and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the effective date above.

These terms are governed by the law of Algeria.
